Eaton Industries (Canada) Company located in Winnipeg; MB has an opening for a 16-month internship opportunity in our sales Department. This role commences in Jan 2025.
The successful candidate will assist the Sales office with any and all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, technical and product support, data entry and analysis, order entry, and order management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with inside sales - quotations, data entry and analysis, order entry, and sales support.
  • Assist our quotation department with project RFQs including single-line-diagram and specification review.
  • Assist our quotation department with assembling quote packages and RFQ file management.
  • Supply our outside sales team with inside sales support, such as fielding technical product inquiries, order entry, and order expedites.
  • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Values and Philosophy, as well as the Safety and Environmental Standards.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled or completed an accredited Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Systems Engineering or business-related Degree or Diploma Co-op program.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • This position does not offer relocation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience is considered an asset.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and time-management capabilities.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
