Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Finance Intern

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

Primary Function

Requires a motivated, hands-on, and willing to learn individual to support the onsite finance team in various task & projects, gaining experience in financial analysis, reporting, & operations while learning from mentors in the finance field.

Essential Functions

• Working with the plant finance team on monthly financial performances

• Working with the plant finance team on collecting ad-hoc data request
• Candidate will have individual projects he or she will be responsible for over the course of the internship.
• Candidate will also work with and gain exposure to other key functional areas including plant operations, supply chain, and customer service.
• Candidate will have the opportunity to network cross functions.
• Candidate will learn and gain on -the -job experience with major business tools such as Oracle, BI & Microsoft Office 365.

Qualifications:

Basic qualifications

  • Actively pursuing Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
  • Must be an active enrolled Junior or Senior from an accredited institution
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship on an on-going basis.
  • Relocation is not being offered for this position, candidate must reside/attend school within 50 miles of Jackson, MI.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred qualifications

  • Project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from production associates to the leadership team.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Desire and willingness to learn about our culture, products & technologies.
