What you'll do:
Eaton has an opening for a 4-months internship opportunity located in Edmonton, Alberta in our Sales Department. Our Edmonton sales office is responsible for sales, service and support of Eaton products including Electrical Distribution, Automation & Control, Power Distribution and Circuit Protection. This role commences in May 2025.
Primary Function:
The successful candidate will assist the Sales office with any / all inside sales functions including, but not limited to, quotations, technical / product support, data entry & analysis, order entry, and order management.

• Assist with inside sales - quotations, data entry & analysis, order entry, and sales support.

• Assist our quotation department with project / RFQ single line and specification review.
• Assist our quotation department with assembling quote packages and RFQ file management.
• Supply our outside sales team with inside sales support, such as fielding technical product inquiries, order entry, and order expedites.

This work term will apply your theoretical knowledge, expand your understanding of the industry, and give you the opportunity to enhance your understanding of distribution and control.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical or Power Systems Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma Program.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• This position does not offer relocation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products.
• Students completing their final co-op placement will be preferred.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is considered an asset.
Position Criteria:
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills and time management capabilities.
• Ability to read and understand one-line drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Passion for innovation & continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
