Eaton's Aerospace Division is currently seeking an Internal Auditor to join our team. This position is based at our Beltsville, MD facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $60374.97 - $88549.96 a year.

What you'll do:

  • Maintaining Quality Audit Program per regulatory requirements.
  • Complete Internal Auditing assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Assist to define, specify, and implement quality standards and procedures for quality system.
  • Support Customer and Third-Party Auditors, as needed.
  • Provide quality system support to both internal and external customers and suppliers, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain quality system audit schedule.
  • Assign and conduct Layered Process audits (LPA); maintain integrity of system used to facilitate LPAs.
  • Liaison with 3rd party registrar to maintain surveillance schedule.
  • Supporting corrective action closure as identified from internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/ GED from an accredited institution required
  • Minimum three (3) years auditing experience OR a minimum of five (5) years experience in a Quality position in an Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing environment required
  • This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Beltsville, MD will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of AS9100 requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret internal and regulatory specifications.
  • Experience in performing Quality Audits.
  • Experience using PC configured with MS Windows OS.
  • Experience with AS13100 requirements is preferred. Note: 1.5 years to obtain certification.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), is preferred. Note: one year to obtain certification.
  • Familiarity with MS Office software is desired.
