Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Inside Sales Representative, CPDI.
What you'll do:
Primary Function:
Eaton's Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Sales Division has an immediate interim opening for an Inside Sales Representative. This position will be located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is anticipated to be 12 months in duration. The opportunity is open to internal Eaton employees as a development opportunity.
Essential Functions:
• Develops and executes sales plan to meet performance expectations and requirements.
• Prepares sales proposals based on customer needs and expectations.
• Prepares & Delivers sales presentations to target audiences (Distributor, Reseller, End User, etc.) to create product understanding and awareness.

• Assist in the maintenance of internal support tools (onboarding tools, quote tools access, PAP Portal, POS Reporting (Power BI, Excel VAR reports, Elite Reseller reports, product comparisons)
• Builds relationships with key customers to enhance long term business prospects.
• Administers all phases of sales process to ensure effective and timely customer service and response.
• Supports incoming calls related to price checks, delivery times, inventory availability, literature requests, and order status from key sales representatives, distributors, and end-users
• Generates quotes, special pricing requests, and provides additional sales support to sales representatives, distributors, and end-users.
• Conduct and participate in promoting product/brand at occasional distributor & reseller events and activities.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• University Degree or an equivalent College Diploma from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one-year of sales-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the Power Quality and IT market preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the sales process and technical background that would support the required product knowledge.
