Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Ingeniero de Control y Automatización.

What you'll do:

Support, implement and optimize the automation systems infrastructure of the assembly lines to enhance the operational performance. Evaluate technology upgrades ensuring their benefits align with the plant's operational and financial objectives.

A. Identify and troubleshoot failures on the assembly process to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.

B. Improve and optimize the programming structure of the current automated devices (PLCs, HMIs, Robots, AMS, Vision Systems and Torque tools)

C. Process optimization, analyzing the performance of the assembly lines to improve efficiency, reduce waste and cost keeping the quality of the final product.

D. Collaborates continuously with manufacturing, quality, production, and maintenance according to the needs of each area.

E. Provide training and support to end-users to support productivity.

F. Work with supplier to troubleshoot problems, enhance systems capabilities or identify cost-benefits of new systems technology.

G. Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.

H. Promotes the company's mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.

I. Motivate employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.

J. Test Stand basic troubleshooting.

K. Modify and improve pressing process.

Qualifications:

A. Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.

B. 3-5 years experience in manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally in the automotive industry.

C. Intermediate English language level required. (Conversational)

D. Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Oracle)

E. Advanced Knowledge in PLC's Allen Bradley, Fanuc Robots, Cognex and Keyence Visions Systems and Atlas Copco Torque Tools.

F. Computer Hardware Troubleshooting

G. Software programming.

H. Mistake-proofing.

I. Knowledge in electronics and pneumatics circuits

J. Interpretation of electrical diagrams.

K. Pressing Process knowledge (Promess Press)
