Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Indirect Materials Supervisor. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.

What you'll do:

This Indirect Materials Supervisor supervises daily scheduling operations to optimize the flow of raw materials, supplies, and equipment after receipt to the final disposition and fulfill material requirements for volume, cost, and scheduling business operations.

  • Manages the development, implementation, and maintenance of the master schedule for all distribution activities to ensure the flow optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Uses material requirement plans to ensure the required flow of materials is maintained.
  • Develop and measure processes for work order management.
  • Collaborates with Operations on staffing to enable workflows crucial to the flow of materials.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves operational roadblocks driven by materials shortages, including frequent collaboration with internal organizations, (Operations, Quality, Divisional SCM and Customer Support) to find solutions to various materials issues which will potentially hold-up schedules.
  • Create detailed reports on scheduling plans, progress, and any changes, communicating these to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensures that material handlers and warehouse personnel have training and equipment necessary to perform their duties.
  • Works within a team environment that stresses employee participation and engagement.
  • Drives a culture that is focused on continuous improvement, positive morale, and exceptional levels of customer service.

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a warehouse and/or distribution center environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
• No relocation is available for this position. Only candidates that reside within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle ERP/Oracle WMS experience

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
