The Circuit Protection, and Controls (CPC) Division at Eaton Electrical reflects a long tradition of creating solutions that enhance electrical safety, reliability provide efficient power distribution solutions for data centre , renewables, commercial buildings, industry, mining and infrastructure. Our products include circuit protection , automation , switchboards systems, fuse gear and many other low voltage products.

We are looking for a hands-on leader to manage a team of dedicated managers in product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. The successful candidate will manage the PnL and develop and execute the technical market strategies tailored to promote CPC's products effectively.

This is a great opportunity for a product lead or senior manager with demonstrated experience across a variety of low voltage products such as power distribution components, industrial controls, and circuit fuses to ensure sales and target orders are achieved.

Key Duties:

  • Support the delivery of the ANZ business strategy by leading a team of product managers who are responsible for managing products that are aligned with the customer needs and market segments in ANZ.
  • Understand the market and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
  • Identify and source new product opportunities aligned with strategy, based on market trends, pricing and revenue modelling.
  • Monitor the teams product performance and customer feedback and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide team support for inventory management ensuring optimal stock levels and time supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure execution of market strategies.
  • Coach and motivate employees to develop and meet their career goals.

The candidate will be expected to travel 10 to 20% of the time nationally and some international factories

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in product management across low voltage products preferably in power distribution components, industrial controls, and circuit fuses.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a management role leading a team of product managers.
  • Demonstrating knowledge in pricing, market positioning, packaging, and understanding of the product's market ability to deliver business results.
  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering OR a certification/license as an electrician.
  • Excellent communication skills.
