What you'll do:
As the Sales Leader - Hazardous Area Communications, you will spearhead the growth and market penetration of Eaton's explosion-proof range of CCTV systems, MEDC notification products, telephones, and signal annunciators, Mining Portfolio, RTK Portfolio across India. This strategic role is pivotal in establishing Eaton as a leader in communication solutions for harsh and hazardous environments, including oil and gas, marine, petrochemical, ports, and other high-risk industries.
You will drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, building key relationships, crafting tailored solutions, and executing strategic sales initiatives that align with market demands and customer expectations.

1. Strategic Sales Leadership:
a. Lead the Sales Initiatives for Eaton GEIS Business in India across HAC portfolio.
b. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business goals aligned with the Profit Plan assigned for the HAC Business.
c. Identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges to ensure Eaton remains a leader in explosion-proof solutions.
d. Partner with global and regional sales teams to align strategies and leverage resources effectively.
e. Identify Direct and/or Indirect Channel partnerships to accelerate the growth of the HAC products in the market place.
2. Market Development:
f. Expand Eaton's presence in key industries in India such as oil and gas, marine, petrochemical, and ports by building strong customer relationships.
g. Drive market entry and penetration strategies for new products and solutions across India.
h. Develop partnerships with system integrators, distributors, and channel partners to enhance market coverage.
3. Customer Engagement:
i. Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers in end-user industries, EPC contractors, and consultants.
j. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the value of Eaton's solutions.
k. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical and commercial expertise.
4. Team Collaboration:
l. Work closely with engineering, R&D, and marketing teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
m Coordinate with global product management and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and support.
5. Performance Monitoring:
n. Track sales metrics, analyze performance, and report progress to senior leadership.
o. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, including safety and ethical practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation preferred).
- MBA in Sales/Marketing or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in sales, with at least 10 years in hazardous area communication products or similar industries.
Skills:
- Proven track record in managing key accounts and driving significant business growth in industries such as oil and gas, marine, petrochemical, or ports.
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
In-depth knowledge of explosion-proof CCTV, notification products, telephones, and signal annunciators.
Strong network within hazardous area industries, including end-users and EPCs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and craft actionable plans.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies.
Strong leadership skills required
