Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Group Lead - Shipper. .
The hourly rate for this position is $21.20 per hour.

What you'll do:
SUMMARY
Perform all duties required to maintain Shipping operations including but not limited to: loading and unloading, scheduling shipments, release orders, and photograph shipments.
Job Duties
- Coordinate logistics of container, flatbed and full van pickup and delivery - communicate directly with carriers and other personnel. Combine orders to maximize truckload shipments in the most cost-effective manner.
- Work with credit department and other personnel for release of orders on hold. Troubleshoot problem solving as well as train shippers to assist to troubleshoot/problem solve issues.
- Perform and train shippers on duties necessary to load and unload flatbed trucks, vans, and containers in a safe manner.
- Perform and train shippers on duties necessary to process small parcel shipments (UPS, Fedex and DHL) as needed.
- Delegate/coordinate daily workload of Shippers to help ensure shipping goals are met. Publish export packing and mark packages / shipments as required.
- Perform as well as train shippers on all types of material handling, lifting, and packaging while following the shipping schedule and processing shipments.
- Facilitate communication between Materials Supervisor and Shippers as needed.
- Process perform and train on duties related to freight claims.
- Process shipping paperwork daily for records to be scanned to SAP delivery. Hard copy of shipping paperwork is to be maintained in Shipping department files. Train or facilitate training of Youth Apprentice as needed to assist with these duties.
- Delegate tasks as needed to the team working with Materials Lead and Receiving Lead as needed.
- Provide guidance and direction to employees to ensure compliance with 5S+ at the start of each shift and 5S+ at the end of every shift. Maintain safe and clean work area in accordance with factory standards.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Shipping experience
• Pass yearly forklift certification
• Pass certification to train new forklift drivers
• Obtain DOT Hazmat Certification
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Basic math and recording abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using all types of material handling and lifting equipment, and other equipment required to perform the various job duties.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Hazmat experience.
