This is a hybrid role and can be based in the following locations: Baltimore, MD; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Pittsburgh, PA; Raleigh, NC and St Louis, MO.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:

You will be responsible for the development and execution of product and application solution specification strategies within the North American (NAM) region for the Eaton B-Line and Eaton Crouse-Hind product portfolios. The primary market focus is data centers and semi-conductors, but will also support needs for the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, Renewable, Pharmaceutical, Heavy Industrial and Infrastructure sectors. You will execute cross-functionally across the organization to drive profitable specification sales and margin growth for Crouse-Hinds and B-Line products and services. This role includes up to 10% travel. Day to day activities include:

Specification - Drive product demand through specification with End-Users/Owners, Engineering Procurement and Construction Firms (EPC's), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Design and Build Contractors (DB). Manage these activities globally while implementing KPIs developed by Regional Leadership. Accountable for product specification, application specification, value-added engineering design services and global project sales per industry codes/standards.
Global Project Support - Support global sales teams with technical support and product applications to support bid packages. Develop global data center and semi-conductor projects and detail engineering for global data center and semi-conductor projects being executed and coordinate with Global Key account managers to specify Eaton as a preferred supplier for Crouse Hinds and B-Line products.
Regional Strategic Planning Assistance - Work with regional leadership and other resources to define key project pipeline looking forward 2-5 years. Key account penetration, relationship development and relationship management. Coordination with Eaton team across the globe.
Customer Support - Address customer issues related to quality claims, inspections, troubleshooting products issues in the field and correct interpretation of specification concerns. Develop and deliver technical seminars and webinars with key customers to highlight the value for Eaton products and solutions. Gather and assess VOC feedback to ensure products/services are meeting customer expectations.
Market Knowledge - Maintain current knowledge of the marketplace, including new or modified product opportunities and other developments. Understand all aspects of renewables and non-renewables energy business, market diversification needs and competitive environment by maintaining a good relationship with prospective customers and collaborate with business development team to derive the market sentiments and trends using data analysis. Create a strong brand awareness for Eaton Crouse-Hinds & B-Line capabilities throughout the region.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience working with an End User, EPC or OEM in Eaton markets or a Specification Engineering, Application Engineering, Engineering or Sales position within data center industry.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the following locations will be considered: Baltimore, MD; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Pittsburgh, PA; Raleigh, NC and St Louis, MO. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Requirements:

  • EPC design experience preferred.
  • 3D and 2D design knowledge with ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to read electrical equipment layout and construction drawings.
