Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Gerente de Operaciones.

What you'll do:

A. Engagement in efforts to influence 100% ownership of safety, accountability, and the sharing of knowledge to a continued focus of creating a zero incident workplace
B. Provides leadership to production, molding and maintenance, to meet financial and customer objectives, ensuring an efficient use of operational resources (budgets, overtime, equipment, etc.)
C. Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of manufacturing operations and achieve operational excellence.
D. Leads and champions a sustainable CI culture that will enable the realization of both incremental and breakthrough business results.

E. Leads the adoption of best in class business practices associated with planning, executing, monitoring and assessing of operational activities and performance.
F. Possesses an inherent ability to recognize and act upon challenges and situations that contribute to success in manufacturing operations.
G. Evaluates Value Strems and the effectiveness of their visual controls to understand the status of process health and capture sources of variation.
H. Promotes the adoption of leader standard work to foster the proper behavior, establish the required discipline, and minimize individual dependency.
I. Aligns manufacturing strategies to overall strategic plans, and considers overall impact across organizational boundaries.
J. Advocates the use of all Eaton Business System processes and tools in a manufacturing environment. This includes Investigate and analyze unique or highly technical manufacturing problems on a variety of complex mechanical, molding, production, or manufacturing equipment.
K. Coordinates and executes process development, process scale-up and technology transfer activities including pilot scale process development, process scale-up optimization and process validation.
L. Successful introduction of new manufacturing processes and skills to support all manufacturing.
M. Matrix management structure for planning, quality engineering, and contracts to support key business team objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proven capability to lead change in a team environment.
  • At least 7 years of manufacturing, and materials experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/activities
  • Requires at least 3 years' experience in progressive management roles.
  • A minimum of Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge in demonstrating operations or supply chain leadership results.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma Process Implementation.
  • Experience in developing and execution of sustain operational performance and strategic growth plans.
  • Background in advance manufacturing technologies such as MRP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Quality standards.
  • Fluent in Both English and Spanish (conversational & written).
