Foundry Manufacturing Engineer

What you'll do:

  • Technical management work in foundry workshop.
  • Create documents on working instruction/ standard work, flow chart, PFMEA, JSA(Jobsite safety assessment), etc for related production cells.
  • Responsible for product Foundry process design and BOM preparation. Identification, design, procurement foundry equipment or tools.
  • Optimize current process/production cells/layout to improve productivity. Lead efficiency improvement project, RIE(rapid improvement event), VSM, etc, for related production cells to meet annual efficiency improvement target.
  • Quick response to solve problems during production on process,Working with quality team to solve quality issues and customer complaints to prevent it reoccurring.
  • Work with NPD team on new products process development, new production cells design, fixtures, tools etc.Quotation and drawing analysis during NPI projects.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, able to coordinate with other departments and work effectively as a team.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Working with CI team/EHS team to own related modular of them to passOpA/ MESH audit.
  • Other work from leader.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Foundry, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or related fields.
  • 3 years of casting Engineer work experience.
  • Require good knowledge and experience of all kinds Foundry process such die casting,sand casting,low pressure casting,Gravity casting Etc.
  • Have solid experience for similar position at least 3 years.
  • Perform highly lean skills, lead lean project experience.
  • Require rich project management experience and project PPAP documents preparation.
  • Ability to understand industry technology development trends and business development trends, and have unique insights into key technologies.
  • Automation project experience will be a plus.
  • Require good written and oral communication in English.
  • Require Auto CAD/3D/SAP/Microsoft software skills.
  • Communication skill, cooperation skill, trouble shooting skill.
