Eaton in Tczew is currently looking for a
Financial Controller
What you'll do:
- Develop active P&L and balance sheet control within profit plan and forecast expectations. Actual and forecast variance analysis and reporting vs plan, vs forecast, vs PY.
- Manage, analyze, evaluate and interpret plant financial forecasts and operating results, recommending corrective actions to address unfavorable variances.
- Review, analyze and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy, consistency, and transparency. Maintain integrity of financial reports.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate departments budget system. Develop and implement reports for management use in evaluating results against performance targets.
- Support the deployment of cost saving and other programs to provide operating economies and improve profitability (SCM and CI cost-out evaluation, reporting and analysis; Fix the Tail actions; etc.).
- Provide leadership to ensure adequate cost accounting processes are in place, including standard cost updates, physical inventory verification, periodic cycle counts, etc .
- Evaluate and approve plant capital appropriation requests prior to Division approval. Monitor and report purchase commitments and spending for all capital programs.
- Support on ad hoc analysis / specific projects.

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration / Economics / Finance / Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years experience in controlling.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills. Result-driven mindset.
- Working knowledge of SOX and US GAAP requirements (local statutory knowledge is a plus).
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective communication skills verbal and written, interacting with people at different levels and departments, both in Polish and English.
- Experience in working on ERP system.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Attitude in providing timely and meaningful reports when required, working by deadlines and objectives.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, team working attitude and willing to learn.
- Curiosity and willingness to challenge status quo. Continuous improvement mindset.
- Controlling experience in manufacturing is a plus.
- Corporation/matrix organization or Big4 experience is a plus.
- Oracle Hyperion Financial Management / Encore and Oracle ERPs are a plus.
