Financial Analyst

We currently have a great opportunity for a Financial Analyst to work independently and manage the financial performance of the ANZ business. Reporting directly to the ANZ Finance Manager, this role will be critical in leading monthly financial rolling forecasts, annual budgeting, operating plan variance analysis and ad hoc projects.

This is a great opportunity for a dynamic analyst with a learning mindset who is not afraid to ask questions and liaise with stakeholders to ensure a thorough process for cost related matters and analysis.

Key Duties:

  • Provide financial consulting, operational analysis and strategic support to senior management such as preparing management and financial preparations, profit analysis, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group analysis and ad project requests.
  • Regularly partner and liaise with business stakeholders and cross functional department owners
  • Provide commercial decision support, sales margin analysis, volume mix analysis, customer profitability analysis, and transfer pricing analysis.
  • Develop and coordinate monthly forecasts, goals and objectives, profit plans, strategic plans, monthly financial reconciliations and reporting and analysis for the organization.
  • Maintain integrity of the financial reporting prepared for the organization.
  • Interpret, implement, and monitor corporate policies and procedures, ensure financials are reported in compliance with GAAP and local statutory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or CA qualification with at least 5 years of experience as a financial analyst
  • Learning mindset with the ability to pick up new concepts quickly and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Similar experience in a multinational corporation is ideal but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Independent and hands on working style
  • Strong experience with SAP. Oracle is preferred but not mandatory.
