What you'll do:

As Financial Accountant you will be member of the Global Financial Services and Systems (GFSS) Function within the Budapest Business Centre. You will perform the accounting activities for daily operations of the customers in the EMEA region.

  • Process Centric: with thorough understanding of the financial processes (RTR, OTC & PTP) with due focus on RTR in managing end to end accounting. Responsibilities include ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
  • Control & Compliance: for the implementation and deployment of actions to ensure an adequate environment of internal control. Provide compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and all applicable statutory requirements as they apply to their areas of responsibility
  • Quality culture: Drive and leverage various systems and tools to automate processes and drive process improvements.
  • Process Standardization: Regular review of existing controls and Governance of the standard processes and ensuring alignment to globally defined SSC processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with the other stakeholders to overall goals and objectives. Proactively manage issues through understanding of the overall processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a practical approach to continuous improvement of the processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • Relevant working experience in Accounting (General Ledger, Record to Report or related area), US GAAP knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledgeable with various MS Office products, especially advanced skills preferred in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP preferably Oracle and SAP
  • Interest in delivering process improvement initiatives, out of the box thinking
  • Be very solutions driven, analytical and capable of delivering results
  • Flexible with workload management during the month-end closing process
  • Able to work within a large, multi-cultural organization with international stakeholders
  • Strong business communication in English, Polish language knowledge is preferred
