Eaton's Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Jackson, MI facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Position Overview:
Lead Accounting team in performing Accounting activities for the Jackson Plant. Provide business support and establish partnership to the plant staff and other functions within the plant.

In this function you will:
• Supervise on site finance team and direct offsite support (ETE team)
• Prepare Profit Plan and Business Review presentations for senior management team
• Prepare monthly forecast including income statement, balance sheet and memo rows
• Perform review of financial statements compared to forecast and research variances
• Ensure internal controls are maintained
• Update and maintain capital project and fixed asset system. Prepare and control CAR's
• Maintain accurate standard and current cost system
• Facilitate month end closing activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general financial analyses
• Maintain compliance with Eaton accounting policies
• Provide financial support and guidance to operations management teams.
• Lead finance team in driving standardized processes and procedures across the facility.
• Maintain SOX compliance
• Provide Financial support to ensure compliance with Government accounting, FAR and TINA Requirements for government contracts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum five (5) years of accounting and/or finance experience
- Minimum two (2) years Manager of people experience
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance
- Knowledge of CASS (government cost accounting standards)
- In depth understanding of Information Systems (Encore, DFT, Oracle Financials, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Experience with cost accounting for a manufacturer
- Manager of people experience
