What you'll do:

  • Work with Plant Manager/ Division Controller and peers to drive plant performance, cost out actions, working Capital improvement, Capex management; Lead PP/forecast process, provide good quality analysis to support decisions; Focus on internal controls and compliance; Team development, etc.
  • Plant Controller is responsible for the accounting and internal controls in a plant environment and supervising the various financial transactions, accounting controls, and accounting department functions. The role is responsible for administering the plant's cost control function, including coordinating the plant's forecasting budgeting, and objectives defined by the division or management.
  • Develop a culture in the Finance Organization that fosters business partnership, ownership of internal and external customer solutions and a passion for exceeding expectations.
  • Analysis of forecasts and actual performance, business drivers, and operational metrics.
  • Develop forward-looking insights to drive management decision, actions and improve operational and financial results.
  • Drive short term actions to achieve current results while supporting the deployment of progressive strategies which result in a sustainable competitive advantage and strong financial return on investment.
  • Provide technical competency to ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, legal requirements and GAAP.
  • Responsible for administrative process improvements within the plant and region/division, creates and implements procedures to improve the internal control environment, streamlined efforts and provide increased transparency of financial results.
  • Responsible for building organizational capability within the finance function by hiring and developing finance personnel. • Ensure assets assigned by the corporation are adequately protected and provide operations management with financial guidance necessary to produce the expected return on those assets.
  • Provide proactive leadership around issues and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Finance or Accounting is required, master preferred
  • CPA/CMA/MBA is preferred or equivalent local professional qualifications
  • Minimum of nine years professional experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience working for a US corporation is a plus.
  • Technical capability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operational data/reports.
  • Superior analytical and thinking skills; Intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Understanding of global business issues, including foreign currency impacts, effective hedging protocols and local customs and duty requirements.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to oversee multiple work assignments.
  • Excellence in English Business both communication and writing
  • Good ethics and compliance sense
