Eaton is right now looking for a driven and organized individual with the ability to lead the life cycle management and business development for our industrial product lines in the Nordic Sales organization.

You will join the Nordic Marketing Team which is executing marketing activities across Nordic and Baltic countries. We are a diverse team of 18 team members, and we value the different perspectives each of us bring to work to deliver great results for our customers and partners.

As our new Field Product Manager, you will work closely with colleagues in the Nordic Marketing Team, Sales and the EMEA Product Marketing community, to understand the target markets for the supported products, key customer segments, their needs and challenges and to define Eaton value proposition and product fits for these customers and markets. In this role, you will be the go-to person and expert for our industrial product lines in the Nordics and ensure that technical features are communicated internally and externally with appropriate, impactful commercial messaging.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage products through the entire life cycle starting from product introduction to the phase-out of products and replacement with new products
  • Analyze market gaps, product fit and competitive landscape for the supported product lines to help shape Eaton's business strategy
  • Participate in creation of local go-to-market strategies and execute marketing plans to support the defined target markets in line with overall business strategy
  • Validate, create and deliver technical trainings to sales teams, partners and customers
  • Validate and create content in cooperation with the Nordic and EMEA Marketing organization (web content including SEO, marketing collaterals, videos, emails, social media etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical studies or appropriate professional education
  • Education in Marketing advantageous

Skills:

  • You have fluency in English language
  • You have an interest working at the intersection of product management and marketing, particularly in demand generation and digital marketing, and have ideally already gained some first experience in comparable roles and/or relevant industries
  • You have a good understanding of electrical products and technologies as well as business basics including revenue projections, business metrics, financial planning and pricing.
  • You have strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • You are a self-starter and like to take initiative
  • You are curious and have a solution-oriented mindset
  • If you already have experience working with international cross-functional teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment, it is of advantage.
