What you'll do:

Eaton's Commercial Product Assemblies division is currently seeking a Facility Technician to join our team on 1st shift. This position is based at our Hodges, SC location. Hourly Rate: Starting at $22.73.

Position Overview:

As a Facility Technician, you will ensure the safety, security, and operational efficiency of the facility. You will be responsible for performing inspections, audits, and maintenance tasks to uphold facility standards, while assisting with project coordination and contractor oversight. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

In this function you will:
• Perform fire extinguisher inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct door security inspections to maintain secure access control.
• Carry out emergency lighting inspections to guarantee operational readiness.
• Undertake structural integrity audits to identify and address potential issues.
• Participate in Facility Gembas to observe and improve facility processes.
• Manage facility orders to maintain inventory levels and plan resources to resolve production issues.
• Assist in building and repairing office equipment (Desk, lights, chairs, boards, etc.)
• Assist the ATS team in maintenance and inspections.
• Monitor contractors to ensure work is completed to standards and within guidelines.
• Audit cleaning services to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Assist project coordinators in the planning and execution of facility projects.
• Support the tool room operations to ensure the availability and maintenance of tools.
• May lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications:

• 3 years facility or maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant
• Office 365 - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Blue printing reading and plant drawings
• Measuring - tape measure and caliper
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
