Eaton's IS VEH Technology division is currently seeking a Facilities & EHS Campus Manager. This position is based at our Southfield, MI campus.

The Facilities & EHS Campus Manager is responsible for managing the Facilities and Site leadership responsibilities in the Southfield, MI campus which encompasses teams from multiple disciplines and sectors across Eaton, including accountability for Environmental Health and Safety.
This role is required to effectively communicate, collaborate, and project manage across multiple disciplines and is responsible for budget and regulatory reporting to internal and external entities. This role has direct reports that support and manage the Facilities team and functional reporting with EHS responsibilities and is ultimately accountable for both for the site. The scope of this role also includes maintaining and improving site employee engagement through survey and action closure, monitoring and adapting to the campus needs as applicable.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

What you'll do:

EHS:
• Support the environmental health, safety, and security strategy and operations at the Southfield (Michigan) location.
• Responsible for overseeing management of the MESH system through EHS team members within the organization.
• Responsible for site emergency response and contractor management
• Drives alignment and execution of global safety expectations with the site, through applicable EHS BRM position.
• Monitors internal/external regulations/standards to help guide the site toward continued compliance (MESH, EHS, ISD, TS, OSHA, ISO etc.).
• Certified to Hazwoper 24hr. Level III Technician
Site Leadership:
• Primary point of communication with the Southfield community
• Drives engagement of direct and indirect organization
• Create and maintain an overall site strategy
• Leads the site leadership team and all employee meetings
• Responsible for functional management of the site HR generalist in order to: support the creation and enforcement of site policies, drive development and goal setting for the generalist, conduct recurring 1:1 meetings, facilitate community and internal engagement (i.e. employee survey, leadership roundtables, etc.)
Facilities:
• Manage operating budget for the facility (~$3.4M)
• Define and maintain a facilities management strategy focused on sustainability, work space optimization, and building functionality
• Support the product line and testing initiatives for growth, innovation, and sustainment.
General:
• Promotes a metric-driven service organization with appropriate systems to accept, prioritize, and track work requests.
• Fosters an environment which promotes Eaton's goals, values and philosophy, encourages continuous improvement and builds partner relationships, vigorously promotes excellence and pride of accomplishment among all employees and ensures that the attitudes are matched by engagement and accomplishment.
• Manage capital budgets based on yearly allotments.

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum five (5) years of industrial experience in Facilities management and/or Environmental, Health and Safety processes.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
  • No relocation is available for this position. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Southfield, MI to be considered. Active Duty Military are exempt from this geographical limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance tools (work order systems)
  • Experience with capital projects/budgeting

  • Ability to influence outside of a direct reporting relationship
  • Project management skills
