Eaton's Corporate Sector is hiring a ERP DevOps and CI Director - IT Product Owner in Beachwood, OH preferably or in Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, Raleigh NC. This position requires 25% travel.

What you'll do:

The ERP DevOps and CI Director - IT Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of the ERP platforms through the utilization of industry leading DevOps methodologies, tools and process to enable rapid deployment, reusability, and standardization of ERP capabilities.

As the ERP DevOps Director you will work across a complex ERP landscape with multiple SAP and Oracle instances to develop ERP DevOps strategies to incorporate AI and automation into the daily operations of IT and business to drive efficiencies, scalability and stability across the enterprise. You will work with partners to understand industry best practices and future trends to drive continuous improvement and optimized DevOps process through the deployment of SAP BTP, AI, test automation and partner solutions.

The Product Owner will set and champion the product vision, work with key senior leaders to craft strategic business objectives and enterprise-spanning plans to meet them, develop and maintain the product roadmap, and define key operational processes like the product release schedule. You will work closely with business partners and customers to define epics that align with key business objectives for the Scrum or Kanban team.

As a leader within Eaton's Information Technology function, this position will have direct management responsibility, developing and directing a team of analysts and engineers to deliver business outcomes for their product area. The Product Owner allocates funds to backlog items and defines work priorities for individuals dedicated to the product team. They will fund a balanced portfolio based on the full lifecycle of portfolio of work, including innovation activities through new features, continuous improvement, system health, and support.

The Product Owner works directly with analysts, engineers and other product team members to execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, define user stories, and provide voice of the customer within DevOps processes and across the relevant portfolios and business units.

Essential Responsibilities:

-ERP DevOps processes across ERP platforms incorporating code quality, code security and cyber quality, change and release management, and solution reusability into the DevOps cycle
-Develop a comprehensive ERP test strategy incorporating automated testing
-ERP operational analytics strategy and alignment with enterprise analytics tools
-SAP BTP strategy and roadmap
- Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work
- Plan, manage, allocate and track product funding and the team's time across full lifecycle activities. Is fully responsible for product budget
- Develops and maintains product-specific persona and customer journeys
- Work closely with business stakeholders and customers, understanding their priorities and defining business outcomes and KPIs for the product
- Communicate goals for product increments and releases. Define goals for team sprints.
- Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage
- Act as a functional expert in areas related to the product, including across Eaton's portfolio and with other business units
- Drive definition and continuous improvement of product processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, etc.)
- Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle
- Manage contracts with software and service vendors to support the product strategy. Manage vendor strategy and relationship

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience as an analyst, project manager, engineer or program lead on highly complex technology projects and programs
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Product Owner
• Manager of people experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
• No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA or Raleigh NC

Preferred Qualifications:
Product Owner certification preferred
• Advanced degree is preferred
• Lean manufacturing/ Six sigma certification

Skills:

• Strong understanding of SAP and Oracle technology platforms and ERP DevOps processes
• Strong understanding of QA principles and best practices with a focus on test automation
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
• Strong understanding modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services
• Understand commercial, business and go-to-market strategies where applicable
• Experience directly managing and developing professional team members
• Executive communication skills
• Strong knowledge of and experience working with design thinking methodologies
• Expertise with creation and management of product roadmaps
• Expertise with lean principles with respect to product and portfolio management
• Data orientation and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Passion for great customer experiences
• Financial and budget management
• Comfortable working directly with business leaders, external customers, and engineering teams
• Proven ability to drive change across organizational boundaries
• Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams

The expected annual salary range for this role is $176249.97 - $258499.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
