We are looking for an Engineering Manager in Mascot to manage a team of design and electrical engineers in delivering high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) power distribution systems that meet customer and regulatory needs. We are looking for candidates with experience in HV and MV switchgear, transformers, capacitor banks, and voltage regulators, that can combine technical expertise with transformational leadership.

What you'll do:
- Support the team to identify emerging product and process technologies through various channels, including networking, self-research and industry events.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
- Represent Eaton on Standards Australia committees (e.g., EL-007, EL-043) and influence industry regulations as part of the Australian Industry Group
- Ensure compliance with certifications (NER, RPEQ, RPEV) and maintain Eaton's reputation for technical excellence.
- Lead high-impact proposal reviews and presentations, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial viability.
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Project Management teams to deliver seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent, creating a pipeline of diverse technical experts.
- Mentor engineers to achieve career goals while driving accountability for project timelines, design quality, and documentation.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and adherence to Eaton's values.
Qualifications:
- 12 + years of experience in power systems preferable in HV and MV switchgear, transformers, capacitor banks, and voltage regulators.
- Demonstrated experience in driving complex bids and specification reviews and ability to provide engineering overview and application of new products into the market.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering with a preference for post graduate qualification in management such as MBA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with authority.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills driven by the team's project execution success.
