Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) - Center for Digital Engineering (CDE) has an open position. The primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate Static structural & Dynamic performance of products/subsystems/systems for various Eaton electrical productlines. Incumbent is also required to partner with global & local teams, understand the design intent, develop and validate analysis models to substantiate the engineering designs.
Candidate is expected to have strong technical knowlege of structural as well as vibration fundamentals and their applications. Prior experience in static and dynamic analysis is preferred. This position demands performing project engineering work independently, communicate with stakeholders and coordinating tasks within the scope of project. The incumbent must have a proven track record of multitasking and working with short delivery cycles. Consistent with the Eaton philosophy, the individual will be responsible for tracking quality measurements relating to developing digital prototyping methodologies, validating with test data & deployment of the methodologies in product design. Knowledge in Design for Six Sigma tool usage (DFSS), automation using python or similar softwares is preferred.""

The primary functions for this position include:
• Interpret, summarize and communicate static structural, vibration and dynamic analysis (linear FEA, fatigue life and damage prediction, modal, harmonics and random vibration fatigue, transient analysis, multi body dynamics) results to global audience and provide technical and/or design recommendations.
• Collaborates with technology and product teams to define problem statements
• Understands project requirements and solves problems in discussion with local as well as global stakeholders
• Participates in development of simulation modeling methodologies in Static Structural / Dynamics domains
• Deploys developed simulation methodologies in Eaton products to strengthen "Analysis First" strategy
• Should able to understand the exisiting methods and deploy/improve to mature Analysis with test correlations"
"Coordinate with stakeholders to develop Structural mechanics/Dynamics analysis requirements for wide range of Eaton products
Interpret, summarize and communicate FEA analysis results to global/local audience and provide technical and/or design recommendations
Contribute in maturing analysis capability of Structural Mechanics/Dynamics technology domain
Develop test plan wherever necessary to verify FEA model and validate analysis approach in correlation with test outcomes"
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably Machine Design) from reputed institute
- 1-3 Years
Skills:
"1. Thorough knowledge of Structural Mechanics & Structural Dynamics Thorough knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Strength of Materials, Machine Design, Theory of Failures, Theory of Vibration
