The expected annual salary range for this role is $63749.97 - $93499.96 a year.

We are currently seeking an employment tax specialist. This position is based at our North American HQ in Beachwood, OH with hybrid work available.

Position Overview:
The employment tax specialist is a subject matter expert in all things employment tax related. They are responsible for employment tax compliance which includes partnering with and guiding our employment tax outsource provider. Providing reconciliation research and support to successfully clear all reconciling items from payroll tax accounts. Supporting Eaton employees to insure that their withholdings are in the correct jurisdictions based on where they work, responsible for setting up jurisdictions and related tasks. Reviewing, reconciling and paying employment tax provider invoices..
Job Responsibilities:
• Understanding federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and ensuring Eaton's compliance.
• Recording and acting on all employment tax notices received
• Partnering with our vendor to ensure accurate and timely filing of employment taxes.
• Supporting Eaton employees to insure that their withholdings are in the correct jurisdictions
• Responsible for setting up jurisdictions and related tasks
• Reviewing and processing all W2Cs on behalf of Eaton employees
• Responsible for writing standard operating procedures for employment tax processes and keeping documentation up to date.
• Responsible for researching and clearing reconciling items in compliance with policy for all payroll tax accounts.
• Responsible for reviewing, reconciling and paying invoices from our employment tax provider.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or in lieu of a bachelors degree minimum 5 years of payroll or tax experience required.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Preferred qualifications:
• Knowledge of payroll processing is a plus.
• Payroll Processing and or Payroll Tax experience.
