As part of the EMEA Service Operations Team, directly reporting to the EMEA Head of Projects & Engineering, the EMEA Software Services Program Manager is responsible to co-ordinate management of the software implementaiton & services elements across EMEA on all projects. The primary function is to ensure that Eaton complies to customer requirements across multiple opportunities & projects ensuring a consistency of support by leveraging the wider organization. The Program Manager supports the overall execution strategy with the Sales, tendering, implementation, BDM & the PMO teams to ensure full alignment across the entire value chain from the operational point of view. Supports execution strategy that matches customer expectations across the wider Eaton ecosystem on all types of software services products (e.g. EPMS, DCIM, SCADA, Cybersecurity, energy transition, Automation & 3rd party suppliers). This role involves strategic planning & program management to ensure that all initiatives align with the company's objectives and are delivered as per the defined expectations.

What you'll do:
- Define and or lead strategy for the software services deployment in coordination with internal/external stakeholders to win business, optimize offering and support overall project financials KPIs on forecasting & profit plan. Monitor program performance, track key milestones, and suggest/support adjustment to plans as needed to address challenges and risks.
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to software services organization objectives. Should have a high level of understand how projects fit into the organization plans, and more importantly how they can be best executed simultaneously.
- Involve in global level workshops & steer Eaton EMEA towards best practices aligned with the software services business unit. Where required lead and/or contribute to continuous development of product, processes, methods, and alignment with major stakeholders of same.
- Responsible for techno-commercial coordination on software services deployment with all relevant stakeholders (internal, external...) from tendering to close-out. Support actions to drive standardization on overall software offering on services elements with the commercial/execution teams.
- On projects involving software services, align expectations between Sales & Engineering teams at pre-bid stage. Assist tendering teams verify solution design & engineering cost assumptions on tender reviews & sign-off. Communicate lessons learned from implementation & execution to all stakeholders.
- Actively engage during the project kick-off phase for short/long term software engineering planning. Responsible for full techno commercial visibility required to kick start the execution onwards to implementation teams (viz: Clarity on P.O, SoW, capacity, capability, etc.) including driving/supporting change order management with the PMO team.
- Support PMs to manage technical & financial risk & attend reviews. Active involvement for software Sub-contractor selection & on boarding. Manage escalations aligned with business units, PMO, Key accounts & implementation teams.
- Co ordinate with projects & implementation team on snags/escalation resolution. Engage in High-level resource demand planning to support priority projects.
- Maintain good relationships with customers (Construction, Operations, Quality teams, GCs/ECs) aligned with the project team. Main point of contact in EMEA for internal stakeholders on software projects escalation. Assist country services units with advance life cycle information aligned with the profit plan.
- Support Project review cadence to understand/support on important higher level constraints/concerns during the implementation phase. Support continuous improvement across the Project Management and any associated project functions to drive standardization and optimized execution methods.
- Support the Software implementation team (Engineers, FSEs, etc.) with all required information during Pre-Bid, Kick-off, implementation & life cycle phase. Support the local country services team with actions for seamless execution of software contracts for large customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer scienceScience, Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum BSc preferably electrical or equivalent gained through experience.
- 6-8+ years of experience, 3-4+years of Data Center / major projects in software deployment with major DC customers.
- Indepth knowledge of Electrical systems concepts including energy & power management/automation for the Infrastructure/Utilities/Data center segment.
- Specific knowledge of software platforms linked with Electrical Power Monitoring, SCADA/Automation, Datacenter Infrastructure management & well verse with the latest industry trends. Know-how on Energy efficiency will be a plus.
Skills:
- High level understanding on Software deployment and configuration in large infrastructure environments.
- Project Management expirience with electrical/software deployments and or Program management within the energy/power management domain
