Eaton's Engineering & Technology Early Talent Leadership Development Program offers a unique opportunity to kick-start your international career. You'll receive leadership training, personal coaching, and network with senior leaders. Through rotational assignments across various locations and business areas, you will develop a broad skill set and prepare for future leadership roles.
What you'll do:
The program will start with the role of an Electronics Hardware Engineer in Vienna, Austria, where you will join the team working on the Power Distribution Components business line within Eaton's Power Management and Control Components business. In this role, you will execute the technical development for the electronics hardware function in complex development projects supporting Eaton Internet of Things (IoT) and Energy Transition growth initiatives as well as Eaton's protection devices business.

The second year of the program will take place in another EMEA country within one of the following disciplines: mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, embedded systems, power electronics, product development. Potential locations for the second-year assignment include Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Ireland.
Qualifications:
- Currently possess or will have obtained a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering with a graduation date no later than August 2025. Specialization in hardware development is a plus. A master's degree is also preferred.
- Work or internship experience in a similar field is a plus (up to 3 years of experience)
Skills:
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: Analog and Digital design, Voltage/Current sensing, Power Electronics (up to 1kV/100A)
- Preferably: basic knowledge of one of hardware tools like Mentor/Altium/Cadence/Spice, etc.
- Fluent English, knowledge of German is a plus
- Effective communication
- Proactivity and curiosity
- Ability to learn fast and take challenging tasks
- Desire to build a leadership career in a multinational company
- Flexibility to relocate within the EMEA region during the program
