Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Richmond, VA. This hybrid office role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) requires the candidate to reside within 50 miles of our Richmond, VA facility. Relocation benefits and sponsorship will be provided within the United States only.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67,500 - $90,000 a year.

What you'll do:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for collaborating with cross-function teams to design and fabricate modifications for field installed units. This position will communicate and Services support team, other design engineers and additional personnel to implement field service modifications and provide technical information.
In this role you will:
- Prepare electrical schematics, single line diagram and BOM.
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.
- Provide technical support for customers, engineering, and plant personnel.
- Maintain good working relationships with customers, distributors, Eaton sales personnel and internal plant personnel in support of a quality customer service effort.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum six (6) months experience in an electrical engineering role (Internship included)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited institution
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Design and development of industrial equipment in the Electro-mechanical field.
- Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
- Ability to read and understand Drawings, Specifications, and Requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering processes
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual
- Collaborative orientation, the ability to succeed in a highly team oriented, global, and diverse environment.
