Job Description:
Lead the design of analog and digital circuits, including power supplies, signal conditioning, and microprocessor support circuits. Participate as a core global member of project teams. Serve as the technical bridge between electronics design and internal/external suppliers, assist with defining and qualification of electronic hardware test systems. Drive enhancement of existing products and services based on evaluations of existing and new technologies. Act as a representative on councils and committees tasked with developing codes and standards for emerging technologies. Perform technical evaluations of electrical components and assess opportunities to develop partnerships and/or new suppliers. Lead product certification activities and prepare project technical packages - UL/CSA/FCC and other regulatory compliance bodies. Act as a technical advisor to product line managers and/or manufacturing engineers throughout the process. Provide solutions and technical support to customers and sales team. Position located in Georgia office; telecommuting from a home office may be permitted.

Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in developing electronic or electrical hardware design for power electronics, IoT products, EVSE chargers or similar electrical system products.
Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, impedance analyzers, and power meters
- PADS, Altium and CAD tools
- Design and testing various electronic system including analog or digital circuits, power supply circuits, power electronic circuit as well as wireless communication modules such as BLE, WIFI and 4G
- SAE, UL, IEC and NEC
- Arc fault Sensing
Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Cybersecurity concepts, including encryption, certificates, and key management, penetration testing and software or hardware code compliance
- Analog Circuit Design, Matlab, and embedded C
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.
