What you'll do:
As the EHS Leader for Services and Sales (m/f/d) you will lead and manage EHS strategies to support the designated Services Cluster and Sales Countries EHS performance. You will partner with operational leaders and EHS liaisons to drive strategic corporate and divisional initiatives to maintaining positive safety culture across the cluster and countries, provide guidance and direction to business leaders and fields service engineers on complex and expansive safety issues and coach managers to become effective safety leaders.

• Provide management and oversight of EHS processes and initiatives
• Identify gaps and help drive ongoing improvement through existing programs and develop new safety programs/requirements as needed.
• Work closely with the leadership and employees to promote knowledge of and conformity with EHS programs and requirements
• Assist with identifying safety exposure/risks areas and developing short term and long-term strategies/corrective actions.
• Partner with business leaders to assist with identifying and developing local safety initiatives that meet current requirements and additional specific safety needs.
• Represent Eaton in front of external parties (e.g. customers and authorized service providers) for EHS matters. Ensures compliance to EHS regulations, standards and laws.
• Manage EHS questionnaires from customers during inquiry to order stage. Ensure regulatory Safety Files are completed and presented to customers.
• Facilitate EHS processes and provides technical and administrative support such as site EHS inspections and audits, subcontractor management or periodic competency assessment (LOTO and Qualified Electrical Worker) to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and Eaton EHS requirements.
• As needed, participate/lead investigation of injuries, conditions and incidents that do or could involve actual or potential liability, and assist in the development of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and communicate regulatory requirements and ensure the organization understands how specific requirements pertain to their business. As needed, assist the organization in ensuring that regulations are understood and followed.
• Develop and maintain progressive relationships with field employees via strong communication processes and initiatives.
• Assist with regulatory inquires and investigations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene or in a related field with equivalent experience in safety and health. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical field AND/OR EHS in industrial or electrical industry.
Skills:
• Professional certification preferred (FASi).
• In depth knowledge of safety and industrial hygiene practices and regulations. Basic understanding of industry standards related to Health & Safety as applicable to the region.
• Team Management experience
• Fluency in English and German
• Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment.
• Experience developing safety and training programs.
