EHS Co-ordintator is responsible for supporting the Management of Environmental, Health and Safety (MESH) process at site. Reporting to the EHS & Facilities Leader, the role includes maintenance of EHS systems and processes such as monitoring and measuring systems, report out of EHS metrics and the collection / organizatoin of EHS Action Items. Individual will also be expected to support Production in the creation and maintenance of Work Station Risk Assessments and any Management of Change as required.
What you'll do:
- Support EHS & Facilities Leader to ensure all legislative requirements are met for health, safety and environment and advise management of any changes that are required to ensure the company complies.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Take appropriate action to ensure that the site maintains it OHSAS18001 & ISO14001 registrations and that it achieves the requirements of MESH.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering to ensure all reqiured safety stadards are met in respect to any new machinery or processes being introduced on site prior to commission
- Carry out regular inspections on plant, facilities and activities to ensure compliance with legislation and company policy is being achieved.
- Work with supervisors and managers to ensure all general and specific risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely fashion.
- Work with supervisors and managers to ensure accident investigations are completed within the requirements of the company policy and report any statutory reporting requirements are met.
- Ensure processes are in place to maintain sites Choose Zero culture
Qualifications:
- Having NEBOSH is a big plus
- Knowledge of Management of EHS
- Experience in manufacturing or similar environment
Skills:
- ISO 14001 Standard/ Lean Tool Leader / NEBOSH
- Computer Literate / MS Office Applications
