What you'll do:
The Document Controller provides documentation related support for the Eaton project delivery team for large data centers. In this position you must be flexible and able to manage urgent requests as required, while working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with an aptitude for problem-solving, learning, and organizing in a face paced environment. Further responsibilities:
- Liaise with Clients, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Internal/External Stakeholders for information alignment.
- Prepare and maintain Technical Submittal and RFI Registers.
- Process new Technical Submittal issues, prepare coversheets, and upload to project documentation systems.
- Check document compliance and quality, follow-up on status, and report RFI progress.

Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) duties include:
- Create sections per submitted submittals and client requests.
- Monitor approvals and troubleshoot errors.
- Create and submit CMMS in alignment with Serial Numbers and Client Documentation System information.
General responsibilities:
- Maintain Master Document Control Register to reflect new project data.
- Execute continuous improvement actions related to folder structure.
- Provide guidance to Project Managers on documentation-related questions.
- Support all reasonable documentation requests.
- Perform other tasks to ensure smooth project operations.
- Familiarity with ITP, FAT, QA & QC Documents, etc.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 Years of experience
- Bachelor's degree (in a technical/engineering field is an advantage) from an accredited institution
- Proven experience in delivering high quality documentation (e.g. Technical Submittals, Operation manuals) in a complex project management environment, experience to organize and preserve documents.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail while balancing various activities and competing demands.
- Excellent (Advanced) working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Can do attitude and interest in learning and growing, taking on new challenges.
- Familiarity of electrical products (Power Panels, Lighting Fixtures, Junction Box etc.)
- Multi-year experience and deep knowledge of documentation tools If any.
Skills:
• SAP, MS Office and Windows
• Paperwork capability in documentation, PO, agreements, guarantees etc.
• Highly organized, with attention to detail
• The academic ability to successfully carry out the role with a broad understanding of sales processes and strategies
