Eaton's Power Reliability Division (PRD) is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer. This position could be based at any of the following PRD locations in the US (with preference to the Waukesha, WI Badger Drive division headquarters site): Greenwood, SC; Olean, NY; Broomfield, CO; South Milwaukee, WI; or Waukesha, WI. Relocation is offered to those who live more than 50 miles from one of those sites & currently residing within the US.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

What you'll do:

-Drive the division's productivity cost savings and Continuous Improvement (CI) Project Portfolio.
-Coach teams across the division on the use of lean, six sigma, and other continuous improvement tools.
-Conduct deck building events at all divisional sites to identify cost savings opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline of projects and Kaizen events to meet cost saving targets.
-Execute onsite Rapid Improvement Events using the Eaton Continuous Improvement System tools to support plants cost savings and productivity goals.
-Coordinate capital planning and spending across the division to support cost productivity projects.
-Mentor and train the cost savings coordinators across the division, in addition to developing robust standard work.
-Upgrade cost savings reports, CI scorecards, and roadmaps with new digital tools, to make them more user friendly and with live information.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Operations in a manufacturing setting
-Company sponsorship is not offered. Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
-Minimum of 2 years' experience managing capital and/or cost-out processes
-Project Management experience
-Experience leading and facilitating structured problem solving events using tools such as: Value Stream Map, 5S+, Standard Work, TPM, Set Up Reduction, Lean Material flow, A3, Root Cause Analysis, etc
-Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification

Skills:

-Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally (within North America).
-Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customers.
-Self-motivating and acts in an ethical and truthful manner.
-Broad analytical skills and business acumen.
-Excellent team leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team environment across multiple sites and customers globally.
