Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Division CI Leader.
What you'll do:
Job summary
1. Drive the OPEX strategic vision and roadmaps for all Plants in RWD: Haina, Las Piedras, Cuautitlan, Lincoln, DWDE, Juarez, Charlotte and Monterrey
2. Provide expertise for Eaton Business System Tools and training including EBS Pull, OpA, EBS-A, and other tools
3. Drive Cost-Out Accountability for the Division including monthly Cost-out Calls and follow-ups
4. Provide support for Functional Groups at the Division Level for Kaizens, problem solving, and to ensure EBS adherence.
5. Liason with ES-A and corporate CI to ensure alignment and monthly/quarterly/annual requests"

- Mentor RWD Sites on EBS and OpA roadmaps for achieving World Class and Plant model Status
- Lead OpA internal assessments identifying gaps and actions required to achieve Performing
- Support the plants performing their Strategy planning and identifying the key leading indicators which move the needle
- Lead the Division CI council supporting the development of each champion on the ECIS tools and OpA Categories
- Conduct deck building events at sites to identify cost out projects to maintain a healthy pipeline of projects to meet cost out targets
- Most Important: lead and facilitate structured Problem Solving events including Kaizens and RIE's "

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Lean Practicioner Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution "
Years and area of experience required
-3-5 years of Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement experience
-Hands on approach to implementation (e.g. Kaizen Events)
-Demonstrated experience using problem solving & Six Sigma statistical tools (including A3, 8D, Problem Definition, Data Collection, Brainstorming, 5 Whys, Fishbone, Cause & Effect, Error Proofing, Variation Analysis, SPC, MSA, and DOE) to solve problems
- Cost Out Projects: Lead or coordinate site initiaitves translated translated to productivity savings
Technical knowledge
- Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Pull System, Standardized Work, 5S, TPM, Setup Reduction and Error Proofing.
- Problem solving tools & methods, including statistics and process variation reduction tools.
- Eaton Continues Improment System (ECIS) / Continuous Improvement Framework.
- O365 Apps (Power BI, Power App. Etc)
