Eaton's North American Sales Division is currently seeking a District Project Manager to join our Construction Sales team. This is a hybrid-based position and candidates for this role must reside within 50 miles of our Westerville, OH location to be considered for the position. Relocation assistance will be offered for successful applicants who live outside of this location. This role will focus on electrical distribution construction projects and is a great opportunity to see projects from beginning to end while gaining sales and customer facing experience. What you'll do:

The District Project Manager is a customer-oriented, technical professional responsible for managing the post-order technical aspects of medium-sized electrical assembly project orders by meeting customer specifications and timelines for product, documentation, and quality. The District Project Manager will be heavily involved in both the technical (electrical/mechanical) details of project orders as well as effectively manage the timelines of deliverables for his/her project orders. This position will work independently on daily tasks, and as part of the field sales team; while leveraging and aligning with fellow project management teams (field services and customer service teams) to manage documentation, commercial requirements, and customer expectations for successful project delivery. The goal is to create value and establish a project order management experience that differentiates Eaton from our competitors as a preferred supplier. This position will also work closely with our customers, which includes electrical distributors, general contractors, electrical contractors, and consulting firms.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate with peer Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, and associated sales teammates to support project scope requirements, project timelines, project changes, approvals, and customer handoffs.
• Coordinate with peer Sales Engineer and customer support team to support post-order handoff by reviewing quote and relevant project documentation to facilitate clean order entry and smooth project management transition.
• Coordinate with customer support teams to support order management activities such as scheduling, change orders, submittals, warranty, test reports, and closeout technical documentation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing locations to align on project execution needs such as scheduling, drawing coordination, bill of material verification, witness test support, and delivery.
• Coordinate with field services teams to align project deliverables such as installation, startup, commissioning, site acceptance testing, and training needs.
• Organize, lead, or support project calls as needed with customer, sales, project management, field service, plant, and product line teams.
• Serve as continuous improvement champion for the team by supporting & growing digital tool use, benchmarking & enhancing existing processes, and supporting change management methodologies.
• Provide specific Voice of Customer feedback to appropriate product, system, solution, and service business leaders - for future product development, quality, modification, customer satisfaction and other purposes.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of three (3) years of electrical industry experience
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Business from an accredited institution
• PMP Certification
• Five plus (5+) years of project management experience
• Familiarity with working with general & electrical contractors and electrical distributors
• Knowledgeable of Eaton Electrical products, services, and competitive offerings
• Proficiency in Salesforce, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Loop, and Copilot

• Ability to travel up to 25%.

• Manufacturing plant operations - customer service, plant sales, customer order engineers, customer order drafters

• Continuous improvement of digital tool use & processes (Salesforce, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Loop, and Copilot, other Eaton business applications used by project management teams)

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $97,500.00 - 143,000.00.

Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
