Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Distributor Sales Representative. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX location to be considered for this position. Relocation assistance will be offered for successful applicants who live outside this location.

Position Overview:
The primary function of the Distributor Sales Representative is to manage and demonstrate strong knowledge of distribution to increase POS sales in the marketplace. This role requires external customer interface at the corporate and field levels to implement programs, product knowledge and overall account strategy and plans. This position will also be responsible for coordination with our regional sales managers (RSM's) on account targets and support programs.

In this function you will:
- Be responsible for distribution sales across national, regional and electrical distributors - link corporate strategy to field (sales growth, target accounts, new biz opportunities NBO's, NPI (new products)
- Be assigned a list of accounts (the Americas) that is very dynamic in terms of distributor complexity, volume of locations and territory size
- Work with various departments (i.e. sales, operations, purchasing) and levels of distributor accounts to ensure overall account support
- Coordinate part maintenance (new items, obsolete & price modifications) and manage recommendations for stock levels
- Partner with regional sales managers, on a channel strategy and plan each year; and effectively execute this plan against set targets (POS focus)
- Make recommendations to management to increase effectiveness of initiatives and programs
- Track and measure distributor growth using sales reporting tools on an on-going basis
- Independently develop and implements action plans targeted at YOY growth and agreed performance levels
- Make recommendations to management regarding potential challenges or issues on a case-by-case basis, offering solutions and pro-actively scheduling joint sales calls in coordination with our RSM's
- Train distributors on the value proposition of Eaton Life Safety and seek target accounts for our mutual benefit
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum one (1) year of sales, sales support or marketing experience within the electrical industry
- Possess a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong electrical industry and product knowledge
- Distribution knowledge and/or experience
- Strong product line knowledge

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $78,750 - $115,500.
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
