What you'll do:
The Distribution sales engineer for Eastern regions will be responsible for managing and expanding Eaton's key accounts within the distribution channel. This individual will lead the strategic, operational, and tactical plans for authorized distributors while ensuring the attainment of the company's strategic and financial goals. The role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in distribution market, and a strong technical knowledge in IEC business.

Main Responsibilities:
• Lead Main Accounts: Manage and lead key accounts within the eastern regions for the IEC distribution business, with an emphasis on strengthening existing relationships and creating new ones.
• New Account Development: Actively pursue and establish new accounts and customers, expanding the geographical distribution network.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and manage strategic plans for authorized distributors to achieve long-term business objectives.
• Operational Planning: Oversee the implementation of operational plans that ensure efficiency and effectiveness in distribution activities.
• Tactical Planning: Create and manage tactical plans that address immediate and short-term goals of the distribution network.
• Sales Targets: Establish and achieve sales targets in line with the company's objectives.
• Opportunity Identification: Identify and tender new opportunities with assigned accounts.
• Stock Management: Align stock management activities with Eaton and partners' inventory to ensure availability and optimize capital costs.
• Forecasting: Responsible for quarterly and yearly forecasting to predict market trends and inventory needs.
• Figures Analysis: Analyze sales figures and market data to make informed decisions regarding sales strategies and distribution channels.
• Market Awareness and intelligence: Stay aware of market changes and competitors' products to maintain a competitive edge.
• Product Development: Advise on the design of forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions and campaigns.
• Campaign Leadership: Lead offers campaigns and promotions to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
• Financial Tasks: Follow up with customers on their payment status and overdue accounts, create agreements, and take necessary approvals for rescheduling overdue payments.
Qualifications:
- BSc Degree in Electrical engineering
- 8-10 years of sales experience with electrical products in Eastern Region/KSA
Skills:
- IEC electrical distribution business experience.
- Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills.
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for distribution management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
