Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Director, Corporate FP&A to join our team. This position is based at the Beachwood, OH office and relocation assistance is offered.

The Director, Corporate FP&A provides strategic and financial leadership to global corporate functions including Finance, EBS and Legal functions. This includes driving insights and actions from data and analytics, as well as presenting compelling narratives that influence decision-making and enhance performance. The Director, Corporate FP&A reports to the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis and partners closely with the Chief Financial Officer.

Eaton's finance organization is continually enhancing its capabilities and striving to deliver a best-in-class operation through the implementation of advanced processes, technologies, and talent development initiatives. This key leadership role will promote a culture of change and continuous improvement by leveraging best practices and benchmarks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function and the business.

Essential responsibilities include:

• Oversee the FP&A activities for multi-year restructuring programs, ensuring the program meets its objectives. Provide support to the businesses with their specific restructuring projects, forecast and track performance, and ensure thorough reporting.
• Oversee FP&A activities associated with other corporate financial items such as interest and pension.
• Champion transformation and process improvement initiatives within functional budgeting, capital planning, and other finance-related processes.
• Play a pivotal role in establishing the Functional Budgeting Center of Excellence (CoE), driving best practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to execute the FP&A strategy and vision, aligned with the company's strategic objectives and financial goals.
• Oversee and execute the planning and forecasting process to direct business units towards defined targets, ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization.
• Provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders based on data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and business knowledge.
• Create and deliver presentations and narratives that communicate complex financial information and insights clearly and concisely.
• Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and other functions to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives and support strategic growth initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends, business opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and growth mindset.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience working in finance/accounting roles
• Minimum five (5) years FP&A focused experience partnering with senior leaders to drive successful outcomes with a focus on strategic planning and business partnering at the senior leadership level
• Experience working in finance leadership roles for a multinational, dynamic industry leader.
• Experience creating financial models to identify opportunities and risks, and leading and driving budgeting and forecasting processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
• In-depth understanding of financial planning and analysis processes and how technology enables these functions.
• Demonstrated leadership managing a team of direct reports to successful outcomes.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship both now and in the future
Preferred Qualification:

• MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Previous experience developing and driving finance transformation efforts on a global scale

The expected annual salary range for this role is $176249.97 - $258499.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
