Die Setter 2nd Shift

Eaton's IS VEH Power Connections division is currently seeking a Die Setter 2nd Shift. This position is based at our Carol Stream, IL location. Die Setters will be responsible for setting up progressive dies ranging from 30Ton to 350Ton into straight side stamping press. They will also perform necessary die adjustments and quality checks during production. This location will also be offering a $1,500 sign on bonus.

The hourly rate for this position is $21/hr. + $1/hr. shift premium per hour + $1/hr. shift differential.

• Set up and operate punch press ranging from 30Ton to 350Ton
• Work close with Quality department and toolroom
• Read and understand basic blueprints
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified
• Perform 5s
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years die setting experience
• Experience with progressive stamping presses
• Experience with Smart Pac controls
Preferred Qualifications:
• Inventory software experience
• Forklift experience

Skills

• Self-motivated with good communication skills

• Have an understanding of die sensors
