Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Design Assistant, Drafter.
What you'll do:
This position assists Designer Drafter role on drawings and models creation and/or changes using CAD tools for parts, assemblies, following verbal or written instructions. Works on assignments applying technical skill sets and judgment.
1. Prepare Drawings and Models of provided instructions defined by designer-drafters and project team. Update old drawing and documentation (hand-made drawings, Scanned, *CAL files) using CAD tools (Convert-to Pro/E).
2. Use Design CAD Tools software and tools to their basic capacity.
3. Demonstrates ability to develop quality documentation with Low / Medium technical skills.
4. Responsible for produce neat and accurate documentation.

5. Accomplish other instructions assigned by manager.
2-1- Responsabilidades relacionadas con Salud, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente (EHS):
1. Assist to all EHS training assigned.
2. Responsible for ensuring safety standards as well as policies established by Eaton
Qualifications:
• Minimum education to include: University Student in Industrial, Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering, or similar careers with a minimum of 120 credits or associate degree in mechanical, mechatronics equivalent.
• Experience of 6 months in similar positions.
• Ability to apply or exercise corporate standards related to mechanical or electrical drafting.
• Bilingual: Spanish/English (advanced level).
• Computer knowledge: MS Office Applications, AutoCAD. Desired: SolidWorks, Pro/E, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Special knowledge: Fair knowledge of Eaton Electrical products and application of agency standards such as UL, NEMA, KEMA, IEC, CE, NEC, and DEMKO.
• Soft skills: Drive for Results, demonstrates a collaborative style, Makes Decision/Solve Problems, Promotes and Champion changes, Pursues personal development.
