Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Cycle Counter - 1st Shift. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN location.

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.

Position Overview

The warehouse cycle counter is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts of stock items.

What you'll do:

• Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items to verify stock levels against inventory records.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records in ERP system. Research all workable solutions to ensure accuracy.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent future errors.
• Accurately enter inventory data into the warehouse management system.
• Assist in conducting full inventory audits as needed.
• Work closely with materials and all departments to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
• Follow written and oral instructions. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including good housekeeping.
• Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary.
• Use of RF scanner and basic keyboard skill required.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks without losing efficiency or productivity
• Supports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Proficiency in counting and inventory transaction integrity
• Certification of powered industrial equipment is necessary.
• 1 years' experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment driving reach truck and or order/cherry picker.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Relocation is not provided. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Indianapolis, IN will be considered.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on customer demand.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle WMS experience
• 3 years' experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment

Skills

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Continuous standing, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Good organizational and time management skills
