Eaton Corporation's Commercial Distribution Products and Assemblies Division has an opening for a Customer Service Representative - Order Scheduler located in Fayetteville, NC. This role will be onsite 5 days a week.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you'll do:

The primary purpose of this position is to recommend, plan, implement, coordinate, and control a wide variety of order management activities while specializing in one or more of the following: customer relations, production loading and scheduling, order quotation, order entry, and order flow, while meeting plant's customer service and sales objectives.

In this function you will:

  • Plan, develop, and schedule the department workload by coordinating with customer service manager, engineering and manufacturing team, utilizing the plant backlog, material engineering requirements, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Control scheduling and dollars for incoming customer orders.
  • Monitor, control, and communicate the status of customer orders and shipping projections to promote plant credibility and maintain on-time performance.
  • Establish and maintain communications with customers and keep abreast of customer needs and procedures. Communicate customer needs to other departments.
  • Conduct and participate in meetings with others, as required, to coordinate efforts, resolve difficulties, and gather data in order to assure a high level of performance.
  • Coordinates internal activities of all departments involved to achieve customer commitments. Represents Eaton in delivering plant recovery plans.
  • Provides continuous and proactive communication to our Eaton order and/or project representatives on order status throughout the manufacturing cycle, in anticipation of customers' needs.
  • Ensure issues are escalated to managers for prompt investigation and action as required.
  • Represent the company and/or customer service manager at customer meetings.
  • Participate in customer and plant meetings as needed
  • Service as backup to MCC Customer Service Representative

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required
  • Minimum 4 years experience interfacing with customers in a manufacturing environment
  • Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without requiring company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Knowledge of SAP/Vista/AS400 desirable
