We are looking forward to a Customer Service Representative in Eaton's Aerospace business, based in Kawasaki, Japan. What you'll do:

  • Interface between the customer in Japan & Overseas and the Company while actively participating in the business process from quotation to collecting payment. To make sure in order placement at the best possible price and achieve satisfaction for both Customer and the Company. Report to Customer Service Manager.
  • Quotation and Preparation: communication to customer with a target of answering max within 48 hours, Follow-up on status with customer, Customer price list maintenance, Regular communication on quotation status with sales.
  • Sales order creation / maintenance: New Sales order input /comparison analysis with quotation, Sales order maintenance (if any change), Sales order cancellation, Communication with sales on orders status.
  • Delivery follow: Acknowledgement of delivery date to customers (delivery notice & acknowledgement), Delivery follow with the team, with production control, purchasing, define delivery priority and communicate with production, control, purchasing, Receive / communicate internally customer's claim of delivery, Review backlog status regularly, updated, and inform customer of any change and provide proper explanation as expected by customer.
  • Shipping: Allocation of stock to sales orders / Shipping advice to the warehouse / For non-standardized shipping process, packing delivery slip / Filing for easy retrieval of related documents.
  • Treatment of Customer product return: Interface with the customers regarding to the Claim / Issue of RMA (Return Material Authorization) and communicate to Quality Department / Treatment of replacement orders / Inform sales about major complaint.
  • Treatment of other request from customers: Treat simple product information, documentation request / Transfer complex technical, engineering documentation request from customer to Sales support or R&D / Handle Samples request.
  • Billing: Control of goods receipt by customer / File for easy retrieval elated documents.
  • Communication: Communication with people in Japan and overseas
  • Operation of customer designation system (Customer portal): Quote / Order / Order acknowledgement/ Delivery note / Shipment / others

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree
  • 3 years' experience in Customer related functions
  • Communication skill with Japanese customers and overseas customers
  • Microsoft office, ERP system
