Eaton's Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position will be located in Glenolden, PA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Coordinate across functional disciplines to achieve customer satisfaction. Manage performance against customer requirements in accordance with contract obligations, terms and conditions. Act as a primary inside customer focal point and ensure timely and effective customer communications internally and externally to fulfill contract obligations meeting quality, cost, and on-time delivery expectations. Develop and maintain relationships that foster additional growth opportunities and strengthen customer loyalty.

What you'll do:

  • Functions as primary focal point of contact for assigned customer related inquiries and represents the voice of the customer within the facility
  • Performs contract review of all orders for customer requirements to ensure that the processing of orders is per accepted requirements
  • Accountable for ensuring orders are received into the ERP system and/or other support databases. Accountable for ensuring demand alignment
  • Accountable for ensuring that the customer's supplier web-based purchasing systems' requirements are being fulfilled
  • Assures compliance with all export control regulations- ITAR
  • Provides continuous feedback to the customer on order status throughout the production cycle by providing proactive communication with the customer in anticipation of customers' needs
  • Coordinates the internal activities of all departments involved in achieving customer commitments. Coordinates resolving issues by achieving a mutually acceptable solution between Eaton and the customer - Represents Eaton in delivering plant recovery plans
  • Assesses market channel delivery options (direct or through distribution)
  • Coordinates and supports in negotiating contract pricing, delivery, administrative requirements and conditions ensuring compliance with Eaton's policies, terms and conditions from proposal through shipment
  • Manages Customer Metrics and Customer Complaint Process - keeps customer database updated with all activities, maintains all records for account responsibility and supports performance improvement initiatives
  • Facilitates and/or supports customer visits and review meetings (travel up to 5% of time)
  • Fundamental understanding of CAS/TINA requirements and D-Trade requirements
  • Assesses current practices for continuous process improvements
  • Provides backup where necessary for Customer Service team and assumes other duties as assigned
  • Support finance organization and collection activities in meeting targets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 year's experience or a High School Diploma with a minimum 10 years of experience in a Customer Service Role, Contract Administration or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in customer service, contract administration or related experience in a manufacturing environment .
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Glenolden, PA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred

  • BA or BS from an accredited institution preferred
  • Technical Skills and Knowledge Required: Computer Skills: Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, MRP
  • Systems (e.g., MFGPro, SIEBEL); basic understanding of accounting principles, contract language and standard terms & conditions
  • Technical Skills and Knowledge Desired: Forecasting; leadership skills/experience; product knowledge, knowledge of manufacturing processes as well as a basic understanding of shop floor flows
  • Additional Skills Required: Attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, follow-up, ability to learn and apply new concepts, ability to follow detailed work instructions, ability to confirm contractual agreements/terms are met through utilization of contracts matrix, effective communication skills (verbal and written), presentation skills, data analysis skills; must be able to function in a fast-paced,demanding environment in an efficient and professional manner
  • Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
  • Must present a positive and professional image. Timeliness and accuracy of responses are critical. Must have the ability to maintain focus and arrange priorities in an environment with multiple urgent requests from multiple sources. Must be self motivated and a proficient communicator.
