Customer Service Representative

Eaton's Commercial Products and Assemblies Division (CPA) is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its Panelboard/Switchboard Satellite Operation. The Customer Service Representative position will be located at the Satellite facility in Windsor, CT.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $56250.0 - $90,000.00 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

The Customer Service Representative is the primary point of contact at the Satellite facility for all external and internal customers, as well as field sales. In this role you will establish and maintain effective customer relations in support of organizational objectives.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate operation schedule for panelboard order building/processing within production capacity, engaging with the satellite staff daily to ensure organization goals are met and On Time Performance (OTP) is managed.
• Process incoming orders, generate purchase orders as needed, and prepare Manufacturing Instructions (MI's) for production floor in a timely manner, including product engineering/configuration changes.
• Exercise discretion and independent decision making to reschedule or reassign orders, select effective supply vendors, and coordinate inbound shipments including expedite orders and advanced purchase items.
• Support Sales and Distributors with questions regarding quick ships. Answer and assist customers with quick ship solutions.
• Answer and assist customers over email and phone on product status, ship dates, and panelboard technical questions.
• Help lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on voice of customer feedback.
• Maintain awareness of Eaton technical product developments through training or other means.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED and 2 years applicable experience in inventory/logistics planning, supply chain, customer service or engineering within manufacturing environment.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that reside within 50-mile radius of the Windsor, CT facility will be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business administration, supply chain management, engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment (sales, supply chain, production, engineering).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in sales or customer service.
• Experience with electricity, electrical diagrams (schematics, power flow), manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Supply Chain Systems (AS400, MAPICS, Bid Manager).
• Panelboard and Switchboard product knowledge

• Knowledge of basic electricity
• Ability to problem solve and analyze product application issues and drive them to root cause resolution.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must be a strong team player that enjoys a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
