Customer Service Assistant

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Customer Service Assistant. This role will take place out of our plant in Hodges, SC.

The Customer Service Assistant will primarily be responsible for providing accurate and timely information regarding manufacturing status of products to Customer Service Representatives and the Sales team. They will take order assignments from customer service and provide daily production status updates on these jobs. They will report out on any inconsistencies with production data being generated. They will work closely with production coordinators, team leads, and supervisors to provide status updates for the purposes of customer communication.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $43499.97 - $63799.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate professionally and accurately.
  • Promptly respond to customer service inquiries on order status.
  • Communicate customer order requirements to production teams and follow up with customer service regarding plant commitment and capability.
  • Support the production, shipping, and customer service teams to resolve daily order issues to meet required ship dates.
  • Coordinate with Shipping Department as needed to get orders shipped on time, or to meet a critical customer requirement.
  • Demonstrate the ability the gather and analyze data, as well as provide recommended courses of action.
  • Other duties, projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 1 year of Busway experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in U.S. without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Hodges facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity/experience with the Busway product
