Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Custodian -1st Shift. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN location.
The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.

Position Overview:
The custodial warehouse worker will be tasked with a variety of duties, including cleaning, organizing, light maintenance. This role is essential in supporting the overall efficiency and productivity of the warehouse, and the ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

What you'll do:
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse floor and communal areas.
• Operate power equipment such as automatic floor scrubbers, power washers, and hand and power tools.
• Emptying trash/ recycles throughout the warehouse and dispose waste properly.
• Wipe down guard rails, racking throughout warehouse.
• Handle light outdoor work of facility cleanliness.
• Perform light maintenance work such as putting together desks, tables, cubicles/ hanging signs and or boards.
• Handle light outdoor work, such as pulling trash from outside receptacles.
• Assist with setting up for events or meetings.
• Report maintenance issues to management.
• Organize and store supplies and equipment properly.
• Supports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain).
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
.Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years' quality experience in a warehouse/distribution center or manufacturing environment
• Relocation is not provided. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Indianapolis, IN will be considered.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on customer demand.
Preferred Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
Skills:
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Must not be afraid of heights and capable of operating a scissor lift.
