Country Sales Leader/ Senior Sales Leader Channel

What you'll do:

Job Summary
This role has dual accountability as the Country Sales Leader for the wider Eaton Electrical Sector business in UK&I as well as specific direct leadership of the UK&I channel sales teams. As a senior leadership role the position is at the heart of decarbonisation and electrification of the economy driving energy transition & net zero forward with Eaton power management capabilities. Working closely across the North Zone, (UKI, Nordics, Baltics & Benelux), the EMEA business units and segment marketing teams to drive profitable growth through integrated business development and sales activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • The face of Eaton at a senior level representing UK & Ireland sales organisations both internally and externally, to customers, employees, industry associations and other stakeholders
  • Personally accountable for achieving the profit plan, margin and mix expectations
  • Directly leading the UKI sales teams selling electrical product portfolio to our channel partners; IT Channel & electrical/industrial wholesalers,
  • Functionally leading the wider UKI teams selling power management solutions in key segments (data centre, utility, commercial buildings) & services
  • Coordinating with the functional teams that support the UK&I sales organisation, (finance, HR, marketing, customer support, sales operations)
  • Developing & implementing the growth strategy using our Play to Win framework
  • Leveraging increasingly digital and transformational push and pull sales and marketing techniques
  • Provide accurate financial and SIOP, forecasting, sales pipeline management
  • Have a sound knowledge of Eaton's financial model including ROS, balance sheet management, cash flow and risk assessment.
  • Embrace a data driven approach using metrics to evaluate & drive performance
  • Understand the major competitor's landscape, their tactics, organization, distribution, strategy and pricing
  • Determine best industry practices through collection of customer satisfaction data and benchmarking
  • Personally establish strong business relationships with (key) customers and understand growth motivators within the customer base.
  • Build a network of internal relationships with business units, product management & segment teams across Eaton globally and to assist the development of marketing strategies and product portfolio evolution
  • Be a visible advocate of digital tools & cadence systems to drive sales efficiency/effectiveness
  • Deliver the sales transformation focusing on the changing buyer behaviour journey embracing virtual selling and marketing led demand generation within Eaton's vision for sales
  • Develop a high performing team to drive sales excellence , leveraging the ecosystem to enhance sales productivity
  • Coach for success and talent development, using emotional intelligence and situational leadership
  • Build a diverse pipeline of talent for career development & succession planning
  • Ensure the highest level of ethical behaviour and safety standards are implemented and aligned with Eaton's culture

Qualifications:

  • Degree of Higher Education
  • Proven sales leader ideally in B2B preferably with channel/distribution experience, preferably in related field
  • Sales leadership
  • A team player, consultative & detailed, driven, resilient & can-do attitude. Positive and energetic.
