The Country HR Leader is responsible for leading, managing and developing the newly established HR team for all country employees in France.
Location: Any Eaton location in France
He/she provides overall Country HR leadership and support to Corporate and Electrical business entities across country to maximize people outcomes. Partnering with key leaders in Country, the incumbent drives the execution of the Eaton HR strategy and drives cross coordination and integration/alignment with the business entities. He/she effectively partners with HR Services, Sr. HR Business Partners and HR CoE teams to implement and manage HR programs and projects.
He/she continuously improves, simplifies and standardizes HR policies and practices to enable a One Eaton unified employee and stakeholder experience, in compliance with applicable laws and Eaton standards.

What you'll do:
- Compliance & Governance - Ensure Eaton's internal processes, country laws and applicable labor relations requirements are communicated, understood and complied with within the functions and businesses. Proactively gather insights on country trends and benchmarking to influence country/regional policies/practices.
- Country HR Team Leadership - Lead, manage and coach Country HR resources in geography. Redirect resources in order to improve the overall efficiency and agility of the country team. Enable meaningful development and career planning.
- Simplification & Standardization - Proactively streamline and optimize Country HR policies and processes, fully utilizing HR support resources (HRS, HR CoEs) and work towards Eaton's Digitalization objectives. Adopts global process changes and drives synergies at country level. Drive CI country HR roadmap. Continuously identify opportunities to transfer work to HRS.
- Change agent - Champion organization change to facilitate alignment of human capital plans to the businesses/function's strategic plan. Drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy. Lead and support country change initiatives and projects.
- HR Functional Excellence - Lead & deploy country HR programs to ensure that the organisation's current and future HR requirements are met and that employees are recruited, onboarded, managed, organised, trained, evaluated and rewarded in accordance with organisation's HR strategy. HR projects and activities are deployed in collaboration with centralized resources and Div /FNC HRBPs.
- Lead for the country: Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Employee Relations/Labour Relations, Onboarding, Payroll Time & Attendance, Culture & Engagement, Wellbeing, Employee Communication, Training and Development, Total Comp & Recognition, Performance Mgt, Global Mobility, Ethics and Compliance, EHS, Employee Data Management, HR Governance
- Deploy and support in collaboration with Sr. HRBP's: Strategic & Workforce planning, Talent management & Organizational effectiveness; OCM, OAD, I&D, Workforce Analytics, special projects (M&A, footprint changes etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related subject (Master in HR preferred)
- Relevant HR experience in a progressive multinational, thereof >3 years of managerial experience
- Strong Employee/Labor Relations experience in geography, working knowledge of relevant labor laws
- Track record of process optimization to improve HR productivity
- Experience in partnering with leaders to design and drive HR initiatives across multiple sites
- Experience in driving employee engagement, organizational and cultural changes in a matrix environment
- Fluent in English and French
