What you'll do:
The primary function of the Application Engineer Co-op is to provide technical application support to customers, sales and other Bussmann division departments. The Application Engineer Co-op will support more technical and in-depth email inquiries. The
Application Engineer Co-op will be viewed as the technical expert on Bussmann series products and their application.
- Provide in-depth technical application support to customers via phone, chat, and email.
- Actively engage in the training of customers and Division personnel.
- Develop and update training materials.
- Act as the technical expert from the factory.
- Provide guidance on NEC, UL, CSA, & IEC requirements for overcurrent and overvoltage protection
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in or received a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States, now or in the future without company sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. The candidate must reside within 50 miles of Ellisville, MO.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Major in Electrical Engineering.
- Two years of coursework completed.
